The Artero Nature Collection Long Pin Slicker offers an easy-to-use, effective solution for grooming your pet. It has a long pin design that penetrates deeply into the fur to remove dirt and tangles, and a slicker brush to ensure even distribution of fur oils. Perfect for daily brushing and de-matting!
My golden retriever's undercoat was a mess, and the long pins actually reach down to the skin instead of just skimming the surface. It pulled out a shocking amount of loose fur in one sitting and the tangles behind his ears came right out.
My golden retriever's undercoat was a tangled mess and this slicker cut right through it in a few passes. The long pins get down to the skin without scratching, which my dog actually tolerates.
The long pins actually reach through my dog's thick undercoat instead of just skimming the top, and the tangles behind his ears came out in a few strokes. Way less pulling than the shorter slicker I had before.
