The 16-to-1 dilution ratio really surprised me, since one gallon became multiple jugs worth of shampoo for my two dogs. It lathers easily on the head and down the tail, and rinses out clean without leaving their coats feeling stripped.
The dilution ratio is the best part—16 to 1 means this gallon is going to last me months instead of weeks. I mixed it in a spray bottle with warm water and it lathered up fine on my shepherd's coat.
Bought the gallon to use on my two labs and the 16-to-1 dilution means one jug is going to last me forever. It lathers up fine even when I mix it a little weak for the puppy, and their coats come out clean without feeling stripped.
