My husky's undercoat was a nightmare until this. The flexible head really bends with the angle of his back instead of scraping it, and it pulls out the loose fluff without yanking. Took maybe ten minutes off our usual grooming session.
The double-sided slicker is a lifesaver during shedding season. One side breaks up the mats behind my husky's ears while the flexible head follows her body instead of scraping her skin.
