The curved blade on this chunker glides through thick coats way smoother than my old straight shear. The 440C steel still feels sharp after a month of weekly grooming.
I was worried 26 teeth would grab too much hair at once, but it glides through wet coats and blends the legs cleanly. The butterfly handle fits my hand nicely and my thumb doesn't ache after a full groom. Japanese steel still cuts like new after a month.
The curved blade on this 7.5" chunker glides through thick coats without leaving harsh lines, which surprised me for the price. The Japanese steel holds an edge well too — still cutting cleanly after a month of daily grooming.
