The curved blade glides through mats behind my terrier's ears that my straight shears used to snag on. The offset handle and fixed finger rest make it easy to keep a steady grip, and the Japanese steel still feels sharp after a month of weekly trims.
My hands didn't ache after a full afternoon of grooming three dogs, which never happens with my old shears. The Japanese steel stays sharp through thick mats, and the fixed finger rest keeps my grip steady on the curved cuts.
The curve on these shears follows the body's shape so well that I barely have to lift my wrist while trimming legs and paws. Japanese steel stays sharp through a full day of grooms, and the offset handle keeps my hand from cramping.
